Dog Licenses are handled by the Town Treasurer during his normal business hours. If needed you are welcome to drop off the filled out form during the day and a check made out to the Town Treasurer for the correct amount; the Treasurer will mail the license to you. The form can found on the website under forms and permits.

If your address begins with an N or W you vote at the Darien Town Hall during normal voting hours – which are 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. If you need to register call or stop by the Town Hall before elections, this makes it easier on you.

You pay your tax bill at the Darien Town Hall, N2826 Foundry Road, Darien from mid December – first few days in February. After that taxes are paid at the Walworth County Treasurers office. As a reminder the second installment is due by July 31st; at the Walworth County Treasurer’s Office in Elkhorn located at 100 W. Walworth Street.

In accordance with Chapter 19.34 of the Wisconsin State Statues the Town Clerk is the custodian of all records of the Town pretaining to Town Board matters and other legal records required by law to be maintained and kept by the Clerk. Any person may contact the Clerks office for an appointment. Records may be inspected during Usual Business Hours in the Clerk's office, however persons wishing to inspect records shall make written request to the Clerk.
